Parish Council Salt Bins
Background
The parish council undertook a programme of salt bin installations in 2011. This was to provide the residents of Kings Hill with the means of salting small areas of road and pavement not covered by Kent County Council’s primary and secondary precautionary salting routes or Liberty Property Trusts salting routes.
Due to the financial position of the council that has been well documented the council were unable to commit to the filling of salt bins for the 2021/ 2022 budget. This was agreed by Full Council on 16th December 2020.
This will be reviewed for the 2022/ 2023 budget.
The salt bins are inspected by a member of staff on a regular basis but if you notice any damage to the salt bins please contact the Clerk at clerk@kingshillparish.gov.uk or 01732 870382.
